In the 5th week of our Human and Entrepreneurship Dirlik program, we hosted Eray U\u011furluay, Sales Director of Teleperformance, for a lecture on Marketing 4Ps and Segmentation. During the session, we delved into the evolution of marketing and emphasized the significance of customer segmentation. The discussion focused on how to effectively target specific audiences and develop strategies for different market segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 6th week, we hosted Bayram Veli Salur, Chief Investment Officer of Kuveyt T\u00fcrk Portf\u00f6y, for a lecture about the financial journey of founders. The session provided valuable insights into market evaluation, budgeting, and growth strategies, equipping us with tools to address future financial challenges effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 7th week, we held our lectures online. In the session on HR Applications & CV, Selim \u00c7elebi, Global Human Resources Director of Kastamonu Entegre, shared key tips on crafting professional CVs, including minimalist formatting, clear organization, and effectively showcasing skills. He emphasized tailoring applications, preparing for interviews through research, communicating confidently, and using the STAR method for behavioral questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the same day, in our second lecture, Meryem Adak, Non-Executive Partner and Senior Consultant of Talent Brand Company, gave an inspiring seminar, sharing key tips on personal branding and LinkedIn usage. These seminars, focusing on Human Resources, taught us how to stand out in the competitive job market and approach recruitment processes with confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 8th week, we had the honor of welcoming Amel Kova\u010devi\u0107, CEO of BH Telecom. Mr. Amel introduced the concept of postnormal times by Ziauddin Sardar, explaining three types of “present”\u2014immediate, extended, and futuristic. Discussions touched on trends, emerging phenomena, the life cycle of change, and the opportunities within postnormal potentials. Key topics included aging populations, emigration from the Western Balkans, low birth rates, climate change, and the Muslim population percentage in the Balkans. The concept of civilizationism was also explained, followed by six Bosnian scenarios based on two key determinants, which were linked back to the types of “present.” The session ended with Mr. Amel\u2019s vision of the “2050 Bosnian Dream Scenario” for Canton Sarajevo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of another productive month, we are excited to continue this journey, embracing new opportunities for growth and learning in the upcoming seminars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
