In the 9th week, we held two lectures. Selçuk Gençaslan, Senior Vice President of Cargo Marketing at Turkish Airlines, shared his expertise on revenue models. The lecture emphasized the critical role of pricing in capturing value, explored various pricing strategies, and highlighted the importance of aligning pricing methods with market demand to maximize revenue.
On the same day, we delved into the fundamentals of financial statements with Ertuğrul Bal, Strategic Planning Manager at Turkcell. This session focused on the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. We emphasized their critical role in assessing financial performance and ensuring efficient resource planning. Furthermore, their impact on attracting investments was highlighted as essential for driving sustainable growth and long-term success.
In the 10th week, we welcomed Şafak Boztepe, Strategy and Market Management Manager, for a lecture on sales and channel management. The session explored the fundamentals of sales, the importance of understanding customer needs, and effective channel management strategies to optimize business performance. Through this lecture, we gained valuable insights into understanding customer needs, mastering sales principles, and applying effective strategies to enhance business outcomes.
In the 11th week, we had the privilege of hosting Serdar Birinci, Economic Policy Advisor in the Research Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and a lecturer in the Department of Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. The session focused on exploring our potential and understanding the societal value of working to realize it.
