As “Hamilik Okulu Bosna”, we organized our first iftar event in Sarajevo on March 23, 2024 .
We met our students of Hamilik Okulu Bosna and began our tour with Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque. They led us through the eastern and western parts of the city, and we visited the Alija Izetbegovic and the Martyrs’ Memorial Cemetery Kovaci, which home to the tomb of Alija Izetbegovic. To create lasting memories and symbolize our brotherhood, our students organized a seed planting event. Afterwards, we gathered to listen to Mr. Süleyman Gündüz’s meaningful speech and then had iftar together.
We extend our gratitude to Mr. Süleyman Gündüz for his wonderful speech, Mr. Ahmet Albayrak for honoring us with his presence, our dear students for their warm hospitality, and our partner Svitanje for their tremendous support.
